Obituary

Mr. Charles Barrett, 82, of Dunnellon, Florida, passed away at Hawthorne Village in Ocala on May 30, 2022.  He was born June 9, 1939, the son of the late Edward and Flora Faber Barrett.

Mr. Barrett was a native of Albany, New York.  He later moved to Maryland and New Jersey to gain experience in several areas his company had stores and warehouses in.  After retirement, he moved to Florida in 1999 for the mild weather and year round golf.

He is survived by his wife, Viginia Barrett, four children, Brian Barrett, Wendy Warren Barrett, Daniel Barrett, and Steven Barrett.  Also surviving are his ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held for Mr. Barrett at 11 AM Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dunnellon.

Charles always said his three favorite things in life were fine dining, a good book, and his easy chair.
