Charles “CV” Roberts Sr.

Charles “Charlie” Roberts, 80, of Crystal River passed away on March 5, 2023. He was born April 11, 1942 in Lake Wales, Florida to Hershel and Gladys Roberts.
Charlie was a retired Gainesville police officer, boat captain and served in the U.S. Navy. He loved the water, going on cruises and was a die-hard Gator fan. Charlie graduated high school in Ocala, Florida and UCF for his Master’s Degree.
Survivors include: 1 brother, Lee Roberts. His loving wife, Frances Roberts. Sons, Charles Jr. Roberts (Barbara), Troy Roberts, and John Roberts. Daughters Tamela Wadsworth (Jody) and Lisa Vines (Andy). 8 Grandchildren: Jimmy Orcutt (Stacy), Amber Evans (Danny), John Roberts Jr., Rhiannon Roberts(Tyler), Sheyenne Sullivan(Slate), Dakota Roberts, Anna Stark, Dylan Roberts.
Great Grandchildren: Eli, Stella, Easton, Dallas, Jackson, Luka, Ellie, Avaliegh
Arrangements are under the care of Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon on Friday March 10, 2023. Visitation is from 9am-11am with service to follow.
