David Alan Tuck went to be with the Lord on October 2, 2018. He was born on August 10, 1959, to William and Gail Tuck in Ocala, Florida. David was baptized and confirmed at Grace Episcopal Church. He graduated from Forest High School in 1977. He worked for the family business, Colonial Paper, for 31 years, and retired as CEO of the company. David was a volunteer observer for the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, and loved to fly airplanes and helicopters. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge. He loved to fish, hunt with his children, watch baseball and football, and be with his many friends. David was a family man, and that was evident to everyone who knew him. He is survived by the love of his life, Dana, of 32 years. He also leaves behind his parents, Bill and Gail; children, Danielle Hampy (Craig), and Dustin Tuck; brother, Bill Jr. (Marie), sister, Vivian Price (Hugh); in-laws, Bobby and Carolyn Hardin; sister-in-law, Lori Stephens (Scott); four nephews, two nieces, and his precious grandson, Hayes Hampy. A memorial service will be held at Christ the King Anglican Church, 4440 SE 3rd Avenue, Ocala (across from Bellechase) on Friday, October 5, at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
