Faye Brown Obituary

Faye Annette Brown, 82, peacefully went to be with her Savior on September 15, 2022 at her residence at Opis Island Lake, in Longwood, Florida. She leaves her sister-in-law Virginia Dittbenner; her sons Wade, Byron, Dean and Gerald; her daughter-in-laws Kim, Vickie, Jen, and Amy; her 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Faye served faithfully in various job fields including medical records, the USPS, secretarial and children’s teacher. But most of all she loved being with her husband and best friend. After a long struggle with Alzheimer’s, she is now "together again” in heaven with Bob, her husband of 58 years.

Faye’s love for her husband was only surpassed by her love for Jesus. Her simple faith in her Savior was clearly demonstrated in how she lived. Her faith in Christ was evident to all in her words and her kindness to others. From the kitchen, to the classroom, to the tennis court, to the church EVERYONE loved Faye. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 AM Monday, September 26, 2022, at LifeWay Church, 2462 S. Park Avenue, Sanford, FL 32771. Interment will take place at 11:30 AM Monday, at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Florida  33513.
