John J. Bayles

John J. Bayles, 54, a devoted husband, father and grandfather passed on September 3,2021 @ West Marion Hospital in Ocala, FL after a brief illness. John was born in Port Jefferson, NY on September 24, 1966. John was the youngest of 5 children.

He moved to the Dunnellon/Ocala area in August of 1986 from Selden, NY.

John had been a semi-truck driver at the time of his passing with Del Zotto Concrete and Steel Products in Ocala, FL.

Away from work, John enjoyed hunting, attending sports activities when his children were younger, motorcycle riding, and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He also loved being with his dog, Teddy.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Brewster and Carol Bayles, his sister Diane Brock, his brother Frank Bayles and his beloved dog Boozer.

John is survived by his wife of 34 years, Janet Bayles; one son and one daughter, Kevin Bayles and his wife Beckie, Dunnellon, FL, Sara Bayles and her fiancé, Scott Thomas, Hawthorne, FL; his two grandsons, Andrew and Mason Bayles; one brother, Brewster Bayles II, Selden, NY, and one sister Catherine Harding, KY, along with several nieces and nephews.
