John William Gammino, 63, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on September 7, 2023 in Ocala FL, after a brave and strong fight with cancer.  He graduated high school in 1979 from South Plainfield, NJ.  John soon after moved to Florida and was a medical biller for most of his career.

In his younger adult years John (also known as Jack to some) enjoyed going to casinos, dance clubs, and watching movies.  John met his partner Paul Biango in 1988 and they built a life together in Lakeland, FL where they enjoyed hanging out with their many friends and family, and were loving life.

John had a big personality, and his handsome smile would light up a room.  He was always the funny one in a crowd making people laugh.  He was so very caring, non-judgmental, trusting, and a true friend to many, a loving partner to Paul, and a very dear sweet brother and a wonderful caring son.

John is preceded in death by his mother Patricia Ann Gammino, who passed January 11, 2022.  He is survived by his adored partner of 36 years, Paul Biango and their two pups Paco and Trixie.

He is also survived by his father Joseph Gammino, siblings Joseph Gammino (Marifrances), Thomas Gammino (Karen), Linda Russoniello (Joseph), and Carol Ballard (Ernest).  He leaves behind five nieces and nephews, Anthony Russoniello (Kayley), Thomas Gammino, Alyssa Gammino, Julianna Gammino, and Christina Gammino.

Rest in peace Jack, you are so loved and will be missed terribly.
