Joseph “Joe” Frank Dallia, Jr., 71, died at his residence on Saturday, June 13, 2020. He was the son to the late Joseph F. Dallia, Sr. and Virginia (Fagen) Dallia. Joe was born in Cook County, Illinois and grew up in Wisconsin. He later enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and later served in the Vietnam War. Joe met his wife, Jean in Wisconsin and they got married on September 5, 1992 while living in California. He retired with Chrysler Automotive in California and eventually made his home in Citrus Springs fifteen years ago. Joe was a member of the Ed Penno VFW Post 4864 in Citrus Springs and the American Legion Post 0400 in Beverly Hills, FL. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and playing golf. Joe’s presence will forever live in our hearts and will never be forgotten. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
Joe is survived by his wife of 27yrs.; Jean Dallia of Citrus Springs, FL; his sons, Shawn Dallia and his wife Melissa of Kenosha, WI and Aaron Dallia and his wife Vanessa of Homosassa, FL; his daughter, Kimberly Deligny and her husband Paul of Bloomingburg, NY; his brothers, Terry Dallia and his wife Debra of Racine, WI, Russ Dallia of Kenosha, WI, Corey Dallia, Kenosha, WI and Steve Dallia of Kenosha, WI; his seventeen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
There will be a committal service held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell with full military honors.
