Obituary
Kathleen C. Haxton, age 86, of Dunnellon, passed away Monday, March 27, 2023, at her home in Dunnellon.
Kathleen was born November 26, 1936, in Providence, Rhode Island, the daughter of Philip and Celia Ware. On May 5, 1956 Kathleen was united in marriage with Donald Haxton. They made their home in Massachusetts before moving to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1973 with their family where she worked at Red Lobster for many years as a server. In 2000 they retired and moved to Dunnellon, Florida. She enjoyed shopping at thrift stores, building puzzles, and spending time with her family.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her loving parents, Philip and Celia Ware, her beloved husband, Donald Haxton and her precious grandson, Jeffery Keagle. Left to cherish her memory are her six sons, Matthew Haxton, Robert Haxton, Michael Haxton, Raymond Haxton and his wife, Holly, Paul Haxton, Donald Haxton; two daughters, Donna Dutill, Krista Duff and her husband, Ron; 17 Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of Kathleen’s life, April 15, 2023 at her home in Dunnellon, Florida.
