Manuel Perez

Manuel R. Perez, of Dunnellon, FL, passed away after a lengthy illness on October 19, 2022 in Ocala, FL. He was born in Tampa, FL on August 18, 1945 to Manuel A. and Lillian Perez.  He spent the majority of his life in the Tampa, St. Pete area.  He moved to Dunnellon 16 years ago, after retiring. After attending FSU for criminology, he went into the military and then worked in the FBI until retirement. Manny loved the outdoors, especially being on the water and fishing.  He was totally devoted to all the animals he ever had and loved them unconditionally, as they did him. His parents and 2 sisters precede him in death.  His loving wife, Susan Z. Perez, survives him in death.  Surviving sister is Patricia Costrini of St. Pete, FL.  Surviving children are Robert (Amy) Perez and Jennifer Shaw.  Surviving grandchildren are Sydney Shaw and Jake and Charlie Perez.

A short military service will be held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL, on October 28, 29022 at 2:30 PM.
