Citrus Springs- Margaret B. Monroe, Aka, Maggie, Martha, Auntie, Mom 71, died on August 10, 2021 at Bayfront Health Seven Rivers Hospital in Crystal River, FL. She was born and raised into this life on July 9, 1950 in Newport, Rhode Island and was the daughter to the late Kenneth C. and Mary (Hurley) Cornell. Mom came to Florida, eleven years ago from Newport and has family and friends there that will miss her dearly. She and her late husband, Robert E. Monroe were snowbirds up until their granddaughter was born, Margaret was a life member of the V.F.W. and the Dunnellon Moose Lodge. She enjoyed doing puzzles, playing bingo and making sure her home and anything else was clean. She always said when doing the dishes" if your shirt wasn't wet then you were not doing it right". Auntie always had people over her house and became a mother to all. She had a heart of gold. Depending on her mood you could look at her hair color and guess most of the time it was pink.
