Mildred "Millie" Haines Obituary

Mildred (Millie) A. Haines, a retired School Teacher and Learning Disabilities Specialist, died on May 6, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Robert Haines. The family plans to have a celebration of life gathering at her home in Dunnellon, Florida when times are appropriate.

Millie is survived by her two children, Eric R. Haines (Karen), of Brick, New Jersey and Ellen H. Davis (Thomas), of Gainesville, Florida; her four grandchildren, Thomas H. Davis (Shayna), of Archer, Florida, Courtney H. Davis (Henry), of Astatula, Florida, Steven D. Haines (Katie), of Brick, New Jersey, and Kelly J. Bedford (Rob), of Brick, New Jersey; and her eleven great grandchildren, Maxim, Orion, Eric, Jake, Leo, Blake, Reese, Joe, Kiera, Steven and Kenzie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russel Williams and Marie Williams and her sister, Audrey Williams.

Millie was a native of New York State, but later moved to Piscataway, New Jersey for her entire married life. After the death of her husband, she moved to Florida and spent many years enjoying the Florida sunshine. She loved her Rainbow River home in Dunnellon, Florida and created many happy memories there with family and friends. Millie was a loving, caring person who will be truly missed.
