Myrna Emogene (Lucas) Aynes, 83, passed away after a long illness on February 12, 2021 in T.W. and Lucille Cates Hospice Home in Ocala, Florida. She was born to Irwin Beach and Emogene Mulligan Beach in Columbus, Ohio on May 1, 1937.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, William H. (Bill) Aynes, a son William (Billy) Lucas, a brother Irwin (Buddy) Beach, and a sister Nellie (Skeeter) Beach Stauffer.
Myrna is survived by two sons, John Lucas of Oregon and Jerry Lucas of Columbus, Ohio, a sister Dorothy V. Whitlatch (who was her caregiver during her illness before she went in Hospice Care), two brothers, Harry (Duke) Beach of Pickerington, Ohio and Albert (Nick) Beach (Maryann) of Gallaway, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews. She also had three grandchildren, James Lucas, Lauren Stevenson and Chris, Jennifer Lucas, and several great grandchildren, including Harrison Lucas. She is also survived by two step children, Dana Aynes and Leslie, Toni Duke and Steve, five step grandchildren, Ryan Aynes, Dana Beaty and Eric, Megan Gundy and Andrew, Crystal Duke and Butch Duke, and five step great grandchildren, Parker Hurst and Audrey Hurst, Morgan Beaty, Know bundy and Beckham Bundy.

Funeral services for Mrs. Aynes will be held at 2 PM Sunday, February 21, 2021, at Roberts Funeral Home, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Dunnellon, with Dr. Mike Patton officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until service time. She will be buried next to her husband Bill Aynes at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
