Patricia Babcock, 89, of Dunnellon, Florida passed away on July 7th 2020.
The funeral service and burial will be held at 10:00 am on July 15th at Dunnellon Memorial Gardens. Pastor Danny Giltner of Community Harvest Baptist Church will be officiating. Funeral services are being handled by Robert’s Funeral of Dunnellon.
Patricia was born in the town of Ballard in Seattle, Washington on October 7th, 1930. She graduated from Lake Washington High School and continued on to study Art in New York city. Patricia started her career at Fredrick N. Nelson as an advertisement artist. She also worked at Lamonts Department store as an advertisement artist for over 20 years. In her spare time she loved to create art for nature societies and animal preserves. She was also actively involved in Woodland Park Zoo where she did many animal portraits, logos, and was a lifetime member.
Patricia is survived by her daughter Diane, step-daughter Shannon and step-son Aaron. Her grandchildren Maeleigh, Geoffrey, Heather, John, Jessica, Amber, Nick, Dustin, Jacob, and Travis. Her great grandchildren Alyssa, Brody, Alexis, Axel, Arianna, Nicholas, Sebastian, Gary and Ellie and her newest great-great grandchild Esme along with many other family members and friends.
Patricia is preceded in death by her spouse Marlin Bastian and her son Richard Babcock.
Memorial donations can be made in Patricia Babcock's name to the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle Washington.
