Patrick "Dale" Colbert Obituary

Patrick “Coach” Dale Colbert, 75, died on Friday, October 13, 2023 at HCA Hospital in Ocala. He was born into this life on October 10, 1948 in Miami, FL and was the son to the late Aud Dale and Patricia (Glisson) Colbert. Coach Dale moved to Dunnellon from Miami in 1972. He was a retired General Contractor and a member of the Carpenters Union in Miami and FHSAA (Florida High School Athletic Association). Dale was catholic by faith. He truly enjoyed coaching baseball and umpiring for many years at the Dunnellon Little League, as well as, various other leagues throughout the state. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends that knew and loved him.

Dale is preceded in death by his sisters, Toni Dolan and Cheri Foster.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 54 years, Patricia Colbert, Dunnellon; his son, Kidge Colbert (Michelle); his daughters, Shannon Colbert Eason (Sean) and Kelli Meeks (John); his brother, Michael Colbert (Carrie); his sister, Terri Hill (Neil); and his four beautiful grandchildren, Delaney Colbert, Austin Meeks, Sean Eason and Ava Eason.
