Peggy Eugenia Sansing

Peggy Eugenia Joss Sansing, 83, of Dunnellon Florida passed away in her home on April 27, 2020. Peggy was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee on August 1,1936. She attended Central High School and Middle Tennessee State College. Peggy was married to her life-long sweetheart Harold Thaddeus Sansing on October 12, 1956. They were married close to 64 years. Peggy retired to Florida in 1998 after working as a Section 8 Administrator for the Murfreesboro Housing Authority. She enjoyed her retirement to the fullest spending her time golfing with the ‘Lady Niners’ at Rainbow Springs Golf and Country Club as well as card playing with her Bridge Club. She loved to go to yard sales and knew every thrift store within a 5 county radius of Dunnellon. She really enjoyed dancing and socializing with her husband and friends at the club.

She is survived by her husband Harold Thaddeus Sansing, son, Harold Trent Sansing, his wife, Michelle Sansing, granddaughter Samantha Elizabeth Sansing, daughter Lori Jean Sansing, nieces Jeanine Ellen Lasseter and Layte Lasseter Fann and Mandy Jane, the Schnauzer.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert Eugene Joss and Christine Johns Joss French.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Peggy’s honor to the Humane Society of Marion County http://thehsmc.org/ located in Ocala, Florida.

She will be greatly missed.
