Rafaela “Faly” Camacho-Palmer, 82, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at West Marion Community Hospital in Ocala, FL. She was born on December 23, 1938 in Catañio, Puerto Rico and she was the daughter to the late Sevedeo and Mariana (Miranda) Camacho. Faly came to Dunnellon two years ago from Puerto Rico. She retired from Warren Electric Company De Caribe. Faly was a parishioner at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dunnellon where she and her husband attended the spanish mass. She enjoyed gardening, playing games on the internet and she loved talking and spending quality time with her family and friends. Faly loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and now she will be able to see him and all of her family that preceded her in death in that Glorious Kingdom of Heaven.
Faly leaves behind her husband of sixty years, Fernando Martinez-Palmer, Dunnellon; her daughters, Odalys Palmer, Amarilis Lloyd (Ron) and Hedda Palmer (Nelson) all of Dunnellon; her two sisters, Iris Camacho and Isa Mathieu of Puerto Rico; her grandchildren, Nicole, Christian, Michael, Giovanni and one great granddaughter, Leahni.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dunnellon at 10:30 Am with Inurnment to follow at Florida National Cemetery at 1:30.
