Roberta L. Jewell

Roberta L. Jewell, 81, entered eternity to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 31, 2023 at her daughter’s home while under the care of hospice. She was born into this life on March 8, 1942 in Benwood, West Virginia and was the daughter to the late Robert and Sara (Richmond) Robinson. Roberta moved to Dunnellon fifteen years ago from Anthony, FL. She was a retired Registered Nurse and a woman of Christian faith and values.

She is preceded in death by her son, Donald Jewell, Jr. and her granddaughter, Emma Schmidt. 

Those left to cherish her memories are her son Robert Jewell ( and wife, Andrea ) and her daughters, Michelle Jewell Mitchell ( and husband, Timothy, ) and Stephanie Jewell Hall ( and husband, Jason ) ; her sister, Judy Kaizer; her grandchildren, Andrew Mitchell, Samuel Mitchell, Hannah Mitchell Schmidt, Sarrah Mitchell Dollar, Abigail Mitchell, Elisabeth Mitchell Dollar, Rachael Hall, Nathanael Mitchell, Jonathan Mitchell and her great grandchildren, Makenzie Schmidt, Tobias Schmidt, Theodore Schmidt, Lanie June Schmidt, Maddie Kate Schmidt, Lincoln Dollar, Dovelyn Dollar, Daphne Dollar, Isla Mitchell, and Zara Mitchell.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Roberts Funeral Home in Dunnellon. There will be a public viewing held at 1:30 PM prior to service time. Burial will follow services at Highland Memorial Park in Ocala, FL.
