Stephen DeBeradinis Obituary

Stephen E. DeBeradinis of Dunnellon, Florida, formerly of Harrison, Maine, passed away on August 21, 2021 after a period of declining health.  Steve was born in Marlborough, Massachusetts on February 27, 1951 to Leo and Bertha DeBeradinis, the middle child of nine.

After graduating from Tahonto High School, Boylston, MA in 1969, Steve joined the US Army and became a parachute rigger.  He spent time in Germany and Virginia before returning home so his children could grow up near family.  Steve became a civilian employee of the Department of Defense and was Director of Logistics at US Army Soldier Systems Command in Natick, MA before retiring in 1999 due to illness.

If Steve was not with his family, he could be found in his shop creating beautiful pieces of wooden furniture.  He also built kitchen cabinets for his home in Maine that were made from trees he cut down on his own property.  Steve was “Daddy Fix It” to his daughters and will always be “YaYa” to his grandchildren.  Steve gave his wife a fairytale life and was a kind and gentle man whom his mother called “the friendliest kid in camp.”

Steve is survived by his loving wife, Sherry DeBeradinis and his daughters, Jennifer DeBeradinis of Myrtle Beach, SC and Dayna Stahl and husband Brian of Devens, MA. as well as his grandchildren, Kylie, Teddy, Trevor, Haylee and Abbie.  Steve is also survived by three brothers, Harold and his wife, Sandy, CJ and his wife Carol and David and his wife, Joann as well as his sister, Carol Marchetterre and her husband Paul.

Steve was predeceased by his parents, his brothers, Richard, Kenny and Lenny and his sister, Linda Fuller.

We will celebrate Steve’s life with family and friends in Maine, Steve’s favorite place, in June, 2022.
