Theodore Peter Mykytka, 95, died on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10, 2020 at his residence in Dunnellon, Florida. He was born on July 13, 1924 in Jersey City, NJ and was the son to the late Theodore and Katherine (Cymbolisky) Mykytka. Theodore moved from New Jersey to Miami. At that time he shared ownership of Ted & Stan’s Towing with his brother Stanley Mykytka. In 2018 he moved to Dunnellon from Jacksonville, Florida. Theodore was a retired Chief Warrant Officer 4 and a decorated WWII veteran with the United States Army. He was catholic by faith and a life member of the VFW.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann, his daughters, Patty Ann and MaryEllen and his brothers, Mike, Joe, Stanley and John.
Survivors include his sons, Timothy and Jeffrey Mykytka; his sister, Katherine and her husband Jack Lipkin; his grandchildren, Amanda, Jason, Jon, Ryan and Eddie; his great grandchildren, Brady, Olivia, Zoey, Jaxson, Greyson and Ivey.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Funeral Home. There will be a memorial visitation starting at 1:00 PM. Due to the Covid-19 we are strongly enforcing CDC guidelines.
