Dunnellon- William B. Lesser, 71, died suddenly on November 12, 2023 at his home in Dunnellon, FL. He was born into this life on March 14, 1952 in Toledo, Ohio and was the son to the late Eugene and Gertrude (Laderman) Lesser. William and his late wife, Penny made their home in Citrus County several years ago, coming from South Florida. He worked in the Maintenance for many years. William had a generous heart donating to many different charities and volunteering his time with River Life Church in Dunnellon, especially with their food pantry. Besides church, you can catch him at his booth selling custom knives at the Inverness Flea Market. He enjoyed watching wrestling, football “Go Green Bay Packers”, crossword puzzles, BINGO, playing cards at the Citrus Springs Community Center, and most importantly spending time with and helping his family. He avidly supported the U.S. Constitution’s second amendment, is a proud member of the NRA, and encouraged his family to always have protection and to know their rights. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
William is preceded in death by his wife, Penny Lesser.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, David Huebner, Cartersville, GA, Benjamin Lesser, Beverly Hills, FL, Daniel Lesser (Laura), Citrus Springs, FL and Joseph Lesser ( Lisa), Citrus Springs, FL; his sisters, Minnette Lesser and Darla Lesser, Angola, IN; his grandchildren, Taylor Lewis (Travis), Kelsey Lesser, Kaysa Lesser, Jason Jenkins, Joseph Lesser Jr. , and Liam Lesser; his great grandchildren, Connor Lavalley, Owen Lewis, Avery Lavalley, Jameson Canahuate, Cole Lewis and Levi Baker.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday November 17, 2023 at 11am at River Life Church in Dunnellon. Potluck style meal to follow.
