James W. Garner

Memorial services for "Jay" James William Garner, age 77, of Dunnellon, Fl will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday June 12th, 2021 at Roberts Funeral Home in Dunnellon. He died June 7, 2021 of respiratory failure due to Covid 19 and severe Pneumonia.

James was preceded in death by his Mother Violet "Clemastine" Garner, his father Harvey Garner, his brother Kenneth Garner and his grandson Jordan Jackson. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Susie Garner of Dunnellon, his daughter Tammy Jackson of Dunnellon, brother Darrell Garner of Arizona/Wa, sisters Sheila Heath of Everett, Wa, Faith George of Everett, Wa, Sharon Lambert of Everett, Wa and Carmen Dunn of Kenewick, Wa.

James was a Army veteran stationed in Korea. He retired from being an over the road owner operator Truck driver for Crete and drove a bus for the Key Training Center in Citrus County for 10 years after he retired. He loved riding his motorcycle and spending time with his great grandchildren. "PaPaw" will be forever remembered for his kindness and calm demeanor.
