Patricia Gammino Obituary

Patricia Ann Gammino, 84 of Dunnellon, FL, entered through the gates of Heaven on January 11, 2022. Patricia was born in Bound Brook, Somerset, New Jersey. She also resided in Plainfield, NJ, South Plainfield, NJ, Jackson, NJ, Bricktown, NJ and Toms River, NJ before moving to Davenport, FL in 1992. She then lived in Lakeland, FL then to Dunnellon, FL. Patricia met her husband Joseph in 1955 during a sock-hop in a diner in Plainfield, NJ and knew at first sight when he walked through the door she would marry him. They were married on September 9, 1956 in Plainfield, NJ. It was in Plainfield where their children Joseph, Thomas, John, Linda, and Carol all were born and then were raised in South Plainfield, NJ. Through the years she loved bowling and was part of a bowling league and won numerous tournaments. She also enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, crafting, going on cruises and going to casinos… never passing a slot machine without giving it a chance. She loved making homemade sauce, meatballs, and sausage although she complained that the sauce came out watery each time. She was a true animal lover and had several beloved dogs (Whiskers, Cricket, Scotty, and Pebbles) during the years she had loved very much. Patricia was very caring and would do anything for you to help anyway she could. She loved her family with all of her heart and that was her priority in life. She was truly loved by her family and she was a mother who gave care and guidance to her children with all her heart. She will be greatly missed and will be forever cherished in our hearts. She is survived by her beloved husband Joseph Gammino of 65 years. She is also survived by her five children Joseph Gammino and wife MariFrances, Thomas Gammino and wife Karen, John Gammino and Paul Biango, Linda Russoniello and husband Joseph, Carol Ballard and husband Ernest. She is also a grandmother of five grandchildren, Anthony and wife Kayley, Julianna, Christina, Thomas, and Alyssa. Patricia wished to be cremated and to have her ashes scattered in a field of beautiful wild flowers. We love you Mom. May you Rest In Peace.
