Penelope "Penny" L. (Lunnon) Fleeger
March 6, 1942 ~ May 4, 2017 (age 75) 75 Years OldDunnellon (Blue Cove) Penelope “Penny” Fleeger, 75, died on Thursday, May 4, 2017 while under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast in Lecanto, FL. She was the daughter to the late James and Elizabeth (Sheehan) Lunnon. Penny is survived by her cousin, John Scales, Huntsville, AL and is preceded in death by her husband Darryl who was an international architect who had owned two businesses in Dunnellon, Fleeger Design Studio and Greener Pastures Farm.
Penny was born into this life on March 6, 1942 in Miami, FL. She moved over thirty years ago from south Florida. She was a Christian woman by faith and was active in the Dunnellon community for many years as a City Council Women, the Rainbow Springs Conservation and the Dunnellon Historical Society.
Memorial Services celebrating Penny’s life will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 at 5:00 PM at the Rainbow Springs State Park Felburn Pavilion with Rev. Jeffrey Welch officiating.
