My heart hurts Gabby.... but I know yours is stronger than ever now....My legs go weak when I pass your room...but I know yours are healthy & your running through all of the beauty there....my eyes are still dropping tears...and yours I'm sure can see the farthest star....and for that, I will be content knowing that you are home!!! I got you Babe!!!!
I miss you,
Sleep well
Lisa

Bernice was a good friend and neighbor. There are no words that can truly express ones feelings at a time like this, so I refer to this poem as a comfort in times like this:
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Momo - We will never forget the time we were able to spend with you over the years. You were tough as nails, never afraid to say what was on your mind, and by far the most self-sufficient person we've ever met. Your ability to live independently until close to your 97th birthday is absolutely incredible, and a milestone we too hope to achieve; way to set the bar high! Beyond your independence, you were always very caring and compassionate, incredibly wise, and never without an opinion or two. Thank you for the amazing stories and fond memories, we will cherish them forever. You truly were one of a kind, and we're so thankful to have had you in our lives. Give Grammy a hug for us, and know that your daughter, grandchildren, and great grandchildren miss you dearly. Love, Riley & Garrett

How can words ever truly express the love we all have for my mom. She was steadfast, loyal, honest, and very independent. The family is mourning the loss of our matriarch. You overcame many obstacles and always worked hard for you wanted. The lessons we all learned from you, are too many to list. Walk strong, and know you are loved and respected by so many. I miss you. Thank you for being my mom. ♡ Andrea

Momo I will miss you, I'm grateful for the times we spent as a child and in these last couple years. I'll never forget all the places you took me, especially our trip driving to California and back. We stayed at a different hotel every night. We made special memories and I'm forever grateful for that.

A special lady has past on.
This is a thank you to my GrandMother Bernice M. Thomas aka Momo.
You were a big part of my life. You tough me to work hard and that nothing is for free. You help raise me into the man I am today. You were a second mother to me. I will miss you. I hope you are at peace. Thank you, your grandson Jimmy

Momo, its hard to put into a few words how much you meant to me. Besides being a wonderful grandmother you were my friend. Even though you were burdened with a disability you were the toughest woman I knowand I always admired your strength. I miss playing cards with you, our trips to Biloxi, or just hanging out chatting over a bottle of wine or a can of your cheap beer! I love the thought of you now walking (without that brace!) the streets of gold reunited with your so many friends, family, and your dogs! I take comfort in knowing that you are no longer in any pain and that you are in a beautiful place surrounded by love. I love you and miss you, Kristina

Momo - Your are a special lady that was never afraid to say what was on your mind, eat chocolate (Turtles especially), or enjoy a glass of wine with her family. Say hi to mom and give her a hug and kiss for me. I love and will miss you. ~Lisa
