Clysta Catherine Mondell, 57, died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 6, 2016 in her home.  She leaves behind her companion, Jack Dreadin; her son and daughter, Cory Burdick and Taylor Dreadin; her brothers, Curt and Tad Mondell; her mother Joan E. Mondell.

She is preceded in death by her sister.

Clysta was born on March 5, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan.  She moved Dunnellon in 2000. Clysta was a homemaker and loving companion to Jack in which Jack claims after all these years “ she’s my wife”.  There were many memories with her family as Jack is an over the road truck driver, he said she and their daughter would ride in his semi truck all over the United States stopping at different areas to sight see regardless if Jack wanted to keep going when momma said its time to stop,” its time to stop”. As time went on Clysta just wanted to be home and if Jack tried to get her to go they would get as far as down the road and she would want to turnaround and go back home.  She was a very simple  and to herself lady who deeply loved her family and “giving” as she helped many different organizations with donations.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon with a gathering of family and friends starting at 10:00 AM.  Fr. Greg Andrews will be presiding.
